Cyrex Testing

In this new era of personalized functional medicine, Cyrex Labs focuses on the evaluation of each patient's immune reactivity. Cyrex examines three key areas:

*Environmental Triggers - Identification of potential dietary and other environmental triggers.
*Barrier Permeability - Evaluation of the intestinal and blood brain barrier's integrity.
*Predictive Antibodies - Identification of markers and possible precursors of autoimmune disorder.

Autoimmune disorders are a growing concern. Cyrex is focused on the fast growing health issues of autoimmune disorders now affecting tens of millions of people in the United States alone. Our test panels are designed to evaluate your immune reactions using our proprietary, advanced technology. Below are the arrays we offer and their benefits to you, each categorized in the following order: Predictive Antibodies, Barrier Permeability and Reactivity Triggers.

Helps in the early investigation of contact sports-related Traumatic Brain Injury, and evaluates the breach of Blood-Brain Barrier caused by stress, trauma or environmental triggers, even in the absence of apparent concussion or brain injury.

This array is recommended if you:
  • play contact sports during which repeated head trauma occurs
  • engage in activity that involves force or shock to the head and/or body
  • have intestinal permeability with abnormal elevation in LPS and/or Occludin/Zonulin antibodies
  • exhibit changes in cognitive function.

Reactivity Triggers

Array 3 – Wheat/Gluten Proteome Reactivity and Autoimmunity

Array 3 accurately identifies Gluten Reactivity, and measures antibody production against 8 wheat proteins and peptides, 3 essential structure enzymes and the Gliadin-Transglutaminase Complex.

This array is recommended for you if you:
  • have non-responsive gastrointestinal symptoms
  • present multiple-symptom complaints (including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia.)
  • suffer from depression or neuro-autoimmunity

Array 4 – Gluten-Associated Cross-Reactive Foods and Food Sensitivity

Array 4 identifies reactivity to foods known to cross-react to gluten and reactivity to newly introduced foods on a gluten free diet to which you are sensitized.

This array is recommended if you:
  • have Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity or Celiac disease
  • are experiencing limited improvements or are non-responsive on a gluten-free diet
  • have gut dysbiosis, which appears to be resistant to standard therapy

Array 10 – Multiple Food Immune Reactivity Screen

This unique, revolutionary panel measures reactivity to 180 food antigens in the cooked, raw, modified or processed form on the same panel. Array 10 assists in early detection of dietary-related triggers of autoimmune reactivity and monitors the effectiveness of customized dietary protocols.

This array is recommended if you:
  • seek a life-long health and wellness strategy™
  • present with unexplained symptoms whether gastrointestinal, neurological, dermatological or behavioral in nature
  • are suspected of having increased intestinal permeability, which is the gateway for environmentally-induced autoimmune disorders.

Array 10-90 and Array 10-90X – Multiple Food Immune Reactivity Screen and Add-On Panel

These Arrays are designed to give you the same unique, revolutionary features you get from Array 10 with two options that allow flexibility. Both the Array 10-90 and 10-90X assist in early detection of dietary-related triggers of autoimmune reactivity and monitor the effectiveness of customized dietary protocols. Array 10-90 measures reactivity to 90 food antigens from the Array 10. The antigens selected are the most commonly consumed food antigens from our Multiple Food Immune Reactivity Screen and make up the typical person's diet in cooked, raw, modified or processed forms. Array 10-90X is available as an add-on test only to Array 10-90. It includes the remaining 90 food antigens from the Array 10.

This array is recommended if you:
  • seek a life-long health and wellness strategy™
  • present with unexplained symptoms whether gastrointestinal, neurological, dermatological or behavioral in nature
  • are suspected of having increased intestinal permeability, which is the gateway for environmentally-induced autoimmune disorders

Array 10-90P – Premier Food Immune Reactivity Panel and 10-90C – Comprehensive Food Immune Reactivity Panel

The Array 10-90P is comprised of Array 3, Array 4 and Array 10-90. This combination assesses the most advanced array of wheat/gluten, dairy proteins and 90 food antigens from the Array 10. Array 10C provides the most comprehensive assessment of food immune reactivity. This combination assesses the most advanced array of wheat/gluten, dairy proteins and food proteins the way most Americans consume them including raw, cooked and modified. It includes Array 3, Array 4 and Array 10.

These array bundles are recommended if you:
  • have non-responsive gastrointestinal symptoms
  • present multiple-symptom complaints (including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia.)
